Jeff Bezos: AI could lead to 3-day workweeks, labor shortages
Amazon founder Jeff Bezos believes AI could make three-day workweeks and single-income households possible. In a recent Fox News interview, Bezos said, “Some people will also decide, you know what? I can support my family by working three days a week.” He argues that increased productivity could give Americans more freedom over how much they work.
If AI allows people to work less while producing more, who benefits from that additional economic value? An AI Dividend Trust Fund would help ensure Americans share in the prosperity AI creates, not just the companies developing it.
